Leave Application
One of the most used features of the system, this is where employees apply for leave. Once clicking on the "Leave Application" tab, the employee clicks on the blue, "+ Apply New Leave Application" button to proceed to put in a request, to company admin, for leave, and new page will appear. The leave names that an employee can apply for are determined by the Company Admin from that account. Therefore the leave names need to be programmed into the system before an employee can apply for leave.
The top table of the page displays leaves assigned by the company admin to that employee. Such as the employees' yearly vacation and sick days. The second table displays leaves, within those assigned, that are requested by the employee.
A special feature of the system is the ability for a employee to apply for one quarter, 1/4, to one full day of leave with varying lengths of time within that day, being possible. For instance, if an employee wants 1/2 a day off, as opposed to a full day, it is possible for them to apply for that quantity of time off, and the time will be subtracted from an established leave period, like vacation leave, or it will be subtracted from their pay as unpaid leave.
Further stating a reason for leave application when applying for it, is optional.

Once the four required entries are imputed, the application will be sent to company administration for approval or denial. It's status will be displayed on the application table as either pending, approved, or denied. It is pending while under review by the company administration, and approved or denied on their response to the application.
